TRS Rehab 4 Life began in Launceston in 2001 under the name Tasmanian Redeployment Services, supporting people as they navigated life after motor vehicle and workplace accidents. From the very beginning, the focus was on helping people rebuild, regain independence, and feel supported during some of the most challenging times in their lives. In 2014 a new name was needed to better reflect the services provided, and TRS Rehab4Life was born.

When the National Disability Insurance Scheme was introduced in 2013, it felt like a natural next step. Tasmania was one of the original trial sites and we were there from the start, supporting participants in the first 15 to 24 age group rollout. In 2017, TRS expanded to include plan management, a natural progression from the support coordination work already underway.

In 2023, we made the decision to focus entirely on plan management. That is when TRS Plan Management was created. Based in the Launceston CBD, our team now supports participants and providers across Tasmania and mainland Australia. No matter where someone is located, our goal is always the same: to make things a little easier, provide clarity, and be a steady, supportive presence along the way.
